Things I’ve been doing to prepare for my year in Korea:

1. Listening to K-pop and foisting it upon all my friends.
2. Studying Korean in Caribou an hour before close.
3. Tearing up at K-dramas. (Which are pretty much soaps.)
4. Sticking Korean keyboard stickers on my new laptop.
5. Installing Korean app after Korean app on my iPod.
6. Getting an email address on the Korean equivalent of Google, Naver.com. (There are 3 emails in the inbox. Two are from Naver itself.)

#2 may be the only useful thing on the list.
