So we made the Chicago trip in less than 24 hours. 16 hours of those were a bus ride. At least 3 of them were walking around downtown Chicago. Probably half an hour was spent at the Korean consulate in total.

But it was still worth it! Chicago is beautiful.

We’re standing on a knife’s edge with this visa process. Our passports have to return to us by Thursday so we can book plane tickets for the weekend, else we’re stuck in suspense for another month.
