The view from the consulate window is outrageously awesome. It’s in Chicago’s NBC building, 27 floors up.
The Korean president, Lee Myung-bak, was visiting the U.S. on the same day we were in Chicago. I had my whole end of the conversation planned out just in case he showed up at the Chicago consulate for… pizza or something, I don’t know.
He never showed. Evidently spending time with the President of the United States was more important.
